The movie “God is Not Dead” is one of the most inspirational films of our time. It makes us all aware that we must have the courage to stand up for Jesus, but as we take a stand we must also be obedient to the commandment and promise given to us by Our Heavenly Father in Psalms 46: 10:
“Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the Earth.

It is the opinion of the editor of The Original Light and ShaynRoby.com that one cannot sit through this movie without being touched by the Holy Spirit. It prompts all of us to realize that taking a stand allows God to use us. Sometimes trials will come our way as we step out in faith, but the molding and shaping that takes place as we step out and faith encourages others to step out in faith as well. People are led to Jesus one person at a time. All of us need to be willing to be the willing servant of Jesus and to walk by faith and not by sight.
